0845 numbers – On the 16 January 2009, BT announced that calls to numbers beginning with 0845 will be free at certain times, depending on your BT call plan and time of call. Mobile and other providers’ charges may vary.
0870 numbers – Calls cost 7p plus up to 6 pence per minute from a BT Together landline. (correct at 14/11/08). Mobile and other providers’ charges may vary.These charges may be subject to change in the future.
0800 numbers – Calls are free if made from a UK BT landline. Calls from other providers or mobiles may vary.
0844 numbers - calls cost 5p/min from a BT landline, Network charges may vary and calls from mobile phones may be considerably more.
