- 6% AER/ 5.84%gross (fixed) for the first 12 months from account opening on balances up to £2,500.
- 0% interest free Advance Overdraft for the first 4 months from account opening.
- We'll match your previous overdraft up to £5,000 (Dependant on your circumstances).
- To qualify for these rates a minimum of a £1,000 a month needs to be credited to the account, or standard rates apply
- You can apply if:
- You are at least 18 years old
- Are living permanently in the UK
- Simply complete the online application form
- If you want us to switch your Bank Account to Abbey for you, then please select `yes´ to our account transfer service in the online application
- We will email you within 3 working days of receiving your application with the next steps
If you switch using our Account Transfer Service and pay in £1,000 or more a month you will receive 6% AER (fixed) interest on balances up to £2,500 for the first 12 months
